Try rebuilding the installed liborcus and libixion in one go... emerge -a1 =dev-libs/liborcus-0.5.1 =dev-libs/libixion-0.5.0 Then try updating again... I changed some of the dependency specifications there (standardizing to what the other lo support libs do), no idea why portage causes a fuss... (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #0) > (dev-libs/liborcus-0.5.1:0/0.5::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled > in by > =dev-libs/liborcus-0.5*:0/0.5= required by > (app-office/libreoffice-4.2.6.3:0/0::gentoo, installed) > ^ ^^^^^^^^^^^ The slot-operator involvement means that it could be a case of bug 523048 (triggered by unsatisfied REQUIRED_USE). We can rule out bug 508762 since that's fixed in portage-2.2.13. Reversion of revisions 1.16044, 1.16045, 1.16046 in gentoo-x86/profiles/package.mask might be now required to reproduce this bug. If you are able to reproduce this problem, then please apply the patch from bug 523048 and try to reproduce it again with the same command. If it reveals some unsatisfied REQUIRED_USE, then this bug is a duplicate of bug 523048. If it > reveals some unsatisfied REQUIRED_USE, then this bug is a duplicate of bug > 523048. Alternatively, simply add --debug to your emerge options, and if it's the same bug then somewhere in the debug output there should be a message about unsatisfied REQUIRED_USE. The debug output is very verbose, so you'll have to redirect it to a file like this: emerge -pvuDN --keep-going --backtrack=1000000 @world > debug.log 2>&1 Is this bug fixed as bug 523048 ? Can it be closed? dev-libs/liborcus-0.7.0.ebuild has been dropped. (In reply to jospezial from comment #6) > Is this bug fixed as bug 523048 ? > Can it be closed? It's hard do say that it's fixed without more info. I have now installed libixion-0.9.1-r1 and liborcus-0.9.2-r1. And 'emerge -vuDN world' does not complain about blocking. |
