![]() Regarding PPC compilation issue, it was compiling after: 27 Jul 2014; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> +files/webkit-gtk-2.4.4-atomic-ppc.patch, webkit-gtk-2.4.4.ebuild: Fix building on ppc (from OpenBSD, only needed on slot 3), bug #518288 by ago Did you ensure you are using updated ebuild? (package wasn't revbumped for this) Regarding mips... how many consumers of webkitgtk are keyworded on mips? (were they really working or only building?) I say this because upstream don't care much about anything different than x86/amd64, we try to keep support for other arches but it's more and more difficult (usually we rely on debian or openbsd people to fix them to at least make it buildable :S). Maybe would be better to drop mips keywords for anything webkit-gtk related, but I am not sure how many packages are keyworded for that arch :/ Also, for mips bug #523840 was opened with patches (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #1) > Regarding PPC compilation issue, it was compiling after: > 27 Jul 2014; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> > +files/webkit-gtk-2.4.4-atomic-ppc.patch, webkit-gtk-2.4.4.ebuild: > Fix building on ppc (from OpenBSD, only needed on slot 3), bug #518288 by > ago > > > Did you ensure you are using updated ebuild? The midori web browser, for instance. It really works using webkit-gtk:2 and I could try it with webkit-gtk:3 because of this failure. > Maybe would be better to drop mips keywords for anything webkit-gtk related, > but I am not sure how many packages are keyworded for that arch :/ No, please, don't do that. (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #2) > Also, for mips bug #523840 was opened with patches I will try those patches. Thanks. Please try with 2.4.6 for ppc problem (its changelog says it contains fixes for that arches). For mips, better go to the other bug report Thanks |
