Description John (EBo) David 2014-09-09 03:43:05 UTC
emerge =x11-ssh-askpass-1.2.4.1 producese an error:

  (/usr/bin/xmkmf:49):
  49:     usage="usage:  $0 [-a] [top_of_sources_pathname [current_directory]]"

Interestingly enough, it would compile by hand in the current direcotry. While tracking things down I discovered an error in <=x11-misc/imake-1.0.6 which caused about 40 blank lines to be prepended to xmkmf. This was fixed in x11-misc/imake-1.0.7 (which is unfortunately not marked stable). =net-misc/x11-ssh-askpass-1.2.4.1 builds without error if you update imake to 1.0.7. I am not sure of the exact cause.

Also, this built fine earlier, but failed on an "emerge -e world".

I hope this helps.

I'm late at commenting, but imake 1.0.7 is now stable. I added a tweak to the dependency to require 1.0.7 when compiling. Thanks for the note and testing.
