I have personaly gotten this program to compile and run under amd64.  In addition, it is listed under "AMD applications that work" thread in the amd64 forum.  

Please add the ~amd64 keyword to x11-misc/synergy-1.0.14

Sorry, it segfaults for me. (Compiled both with gcc-3.3 and gcc-3.4).

/me sighs... my gcc had some issues. Works with gcc-3.4.0-r4 without problems. In CVS now, thanks!
