![]() It is impossible to delete directories in CVS (except by direct manipulation of repository on server side). As mentioned in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/CVS/Tutorial you should always use 'cvs up' with -P and -d options (preferably set in ~/.cvsrc) so that directories with 0 non-deleted files are hidden.
