First check 'PHP_TARGETS="php5-3" emerge -1pv dev-php/pecl-apc'. If that works, you probably have a typo in your make.conf. There is a mask on 5.3: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/profiles/base/use.mask?view=markup # PHP 5.3 har reached EOL and should be removed soon php_targets_php5-3 Removing that line will allow you to emerge PHP 5.3 targets. Thank you Tomas. That's it. I think this move will produce a lot of bug reports. How would be the right way to unmask that? Removing the line will only last till the next sync i guess. thanks again Tomas. cheers t. If that's the case, 'man portage', but EOL is an above average reason. Though it means author of the commit has failed to update at very least php-ext-source-r2.eclass. |
