"scanelf -n" shows that the BinkPlayer binary doesn't depend on libstdc++.so.5:

 TYPE   NEEDED FILE 
ET_EXEC libSDL-1.2.so.0,libopenal.so.1,libpthread.so.0,libm.so.6,libgcc_s.so.1,libc.so.6 BinkPlayer

So both app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-compat and virtual/libstdc++ can be removed from RDEPEND.
