I've tried to emerge gftp. It compiles fine but when it tries to install itself
I'm getting the following error ( Marked in bold red ):

ACCESS DENIED  mkdir:     /usr/share/gftp
mkdir: cannot create directory `/usr/share/gftp': Permission denied
</quote>

log file /tmp/sandbox-gftp-2.0.12-r2-9983.log:
mkdir:     /usr/share/gftp

Note: Emerging as root. Other packages merge just fine.

the -r3 sorts this one. thanks for the catch.
