A ddrmat module that works on 2.4 and 2.6 is now available at
 http://svn.sacredchao.net/svn/pydance/trunk/ddrmat
It has not yet been made into a new release, but it works. We should 
probably make a new ebuild for it.  Who is maintaining the ddrmat ebuild?
