This package is looking in the wrong directory for headers, as is mate-document-viewer (or maybe it was mate-image-viewer, can't remember). Anyway, as a quick and dirty workaround I added these two simlinks, which fixes both packages: #ls -l /usr/include/mate-desktop-2.0/ total 4 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Aug 28 08:20 libmate -> libmate-desktop drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Aug 27 14:00 libmate-desktop lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Aug 27 14:12 libmateui -> libmate-desktop mate 1.6 was obsoleted and removed from the tree. With this media-gfx/mate-image-viewer will also be removed (not part of mate 1.8 any more) |
