![]() I'm having the same problem.. except the error I'm getting is slightly different gcc -march=i686 -O3 -pipe -o .libs/test tests/test.o ./.libs/libieee1284.so creating test docbook2man -o doc doc/interface.sgml Using catalogs: /etc/sgml/sgml-docbook-4.1.cat Using stylesheet: /usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.11/docbook-utils.dsl#print Working on: /var/tmp/portage/libieee1284-0.1.6/work/libieee1284-0.1.6/doc/interface.sgml -d option is not supported under Linux. man backend: could not create secure temporary directory make: *** [doc/ieee1284_claim.3] Error 8 !!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully. !!! Function src_compile, Line -134, Exitcode 2 !!! (no error message) !!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/sys-libs/libieee1284/libieee1284-0.1.6.ebuild . unmerge docbook2X and remerge the docbook utilities. I don't have docbook2X installed.. Should I install it? I don't have docbook2X installed. Emerging it doesn't solve the problem (unmerging it afterwards doesn't too). The problem persists... no, you don't want docbooc2X, you want docbook-sgml-utils If 0.6.11 does not work, install 0.6.9, and pin that in your world file. emerge libieee1284-0.2.0 solves the bug for me. Is this still an issue with the modifications of docbook-sgml-utils and others? As stated above: after merging libieee1284-0.2.0 everything went fine. From my point the bug can be closed... |
