![]() Basically looks like the problem here, is surprisingly, the virtuals. --- CPAN::Meta::YAML 0.011 is not available at /usr/lib64/perl5/5.20.0/CPAN/Meta.pm line 613. --- Its where the error comes from that is important here. Line 613 is: $backend = Parse::CPAN::Meta->yaml_backend(); --- - File::Stat::Bits doesn't declare any new deps - File::Stat::Bits was last released in 2006 - CPAN::Meta::YAML 0.011 didn't exist prior to 2014-02-14 - First version of Parse::CPAN::Meta to require 0.011 is version 1.4410 - perl 5.19.8 ships Parse::CPAN::Meta 1.4409 - perl 5.19.9 ships Parse::CPAN::Meta 1.4413 - perl 5.20.0 ships Parse::CPAN::Meta 1.4414 https://metacpan.org/diff/file?target=DAGOLDEN/Parse-CPAN-Meta-1.4410/&source=DAGOLDEN/Parse-CPAN-Meta-1.4409/#META.json >= perl 5.19.9 ships a version of Parse::CPAN::Meta that requires >= CPAN::Meta::YAML 0.011 --> virtual/perl-Parse-CPAN-Meta-1.441.400 should depend on >=virtual/perl-CPAN-Meta-YAML-0.11.0 ( 1.4414 -> 0.011 ) Ring the Fing source: https://metacpan.org/source/DAGOLDEN/Parse-CPAN-Meta-1.4414/lib/Parse/CPAN/Meta.pm#L57 That suggests we might want to put a similar dependency on >=virtual/perl-JSON-PP-2.271.30 while we're at it. But its not strictly necessary. OK thanks. I think I understand this now. Fixed. |
