I think escaping is the best solution here. Can you try and give feedback on this? I don't have a proxy to test this out with. Turned out escaping doesn't work. But transforming keys into their %hex values worked. Is there a simple method to transform into the hexadecimal values? Best would be through commands available on the installation media (such as bc or python) so we can take it up in the documentation. I don't know. I'd ask on #gentoo@irc.freenode.net, but I'm permanently banned there by IP. if you have any specific instructions, they can be added to a separate wiki page, or submitted via the "discussion" tab on existing networking pages. |
