The actual problem is likely in dev-util/boost-build. Which version do you have? [I] dev-util/boost-build Available versions: 1.52.0-r1 ~1.53.0 ~1.54.0 ~1.55.0 {examples python test} Installed versions: 1.52.0-r1(01:12:38 PM 02/07/2014)(python -examples -test) Homepage: http://www.boost.org/doc/tools/build/index.html Description: A system for large project software construction, which is simple to use and powerful. Definitely duplicate of bug #498134, strange - i forgot to backport that fix into stable, will do it + 07 Aug 2014; Sergey Popov <pinkbyte@gentoo.org> boost-1.52.0-r7.ebuild: + Backport fix for bug #498134, wrt bug #518840.
