Hello!

I believe the use variable GD is probably referring to the GD library (aka 
libgd or gdlib) that is used to generate graphics, such as PNG's, on the fly 
from languages such as PHP, Perl, and C. You can get more info at <

ZEO refers to Zope Clustering. Zope is a high performance content management 
system (CMS) written in Python and ZEO adds the ability to cluster to Zope. <

I'm building X right now. I'm a Debian convert and this is my first exploration 
of Gentoo. Cool!!
