List a patch for Jffnms to fix some postgres issues:

 jffnms-0.9.4fix.pgsql 2014-04-19 140.0 kB

Since the changelog for net-analyzer/jffnms was last updated on
12apr2014, I assume this patch for postgres has not been applied.

Please apply the postgres patch to jffnms.

That is not a patch. It's a PostgreSQL script. What issues does it fix?
Comment 2 James Horton 2014-07-14 17:58:40 UTC
From the main developer (18apr2014):

"For quite some time the postgresql dumps in JFFNMS have been rather
sad. This is mainly around the problems of the converters I have used
from moving from mysql to pgsql.

I looked into this again and found something that looks way better than
what I have seen before. The program is py-mysql2pgsql.
I have made a test conversion and was pretty happy with the results. It
even does autoincrements/sequences right. "

If you like, we can wait until it is included in the next release
of jffnms.

So now it's a python script, too? The PostgreSQL script looks like a complete rewrite compared to docs/install/jffnms-0.9.4.pgsql.

Yes. Let's just close this bug. I'll work on it locally and coordinate
with the jffnms developers as to incorporating these codes into the
next version release.

thx,

Thanks for looking into that.
