Description Robert Brinson 2004-05-21 18:07:15 UTC
On large files, the latest stable Quanta (3.2.2) and the Bleeding Edge version (3.3_pre20040506) have a memory issue. I do not know if it is a leak for sure, but I can see my system's memory usage increase steadily in KDE System Guard. Also, typing PHP code in the editor becomes difficult as the application begins to lag. The file I was using contained approximately 1800 lines of PHP. The increased memory usage also caused problems with the rest of my system, as it took *much* longer to load applications, even after closing Quanta.

you should talk with the quanta folks about this one at bugs.kde.org - they may know of the problem, or will be able to help troubleshoot what's causing it.
