"PerlPanel is an attempt to build a useable, lean panel program (like Gnome's gnome-panel and KDE's Kicker) in Perl, using the Gtk2-Perl libraries.  PerlPanel is the ideal accompaniment to a light-weight Window Manager such as OpenBox, or a desktop-drawing program like iDesk."

Hmm, sorry for closing on you fast like that, I thought this was another bug (a duplicate of this one that I already closed for the exact same reason)
