*** Bug 5196 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 5138 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Patch to store and test mtimes into the pickle for /etc/make.profile/packages package.mask http://gentoo.twobit.net/portage/portage.py-2.0.15-xcache.diff xcache.p also needs to be wheel writable if we are going to allow wheel to do emerge -s and emerge -p :) This is something that gaarde and I were just talking about in #gentoo-dev, carpaski will write it if we poke him. Portage should server-side cache a list of valid ${A} files and then when a user runs something like emerge --clean it should clean out the local distfiles of anything not listed in it's "these are still relevent" list. |
