This problem is also mentioned in https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75709 but I don't see any apparent solution. Maybe it is fixed in glamor from git. Fedora is using a snapshot from "checkout 20140419gita4fbc77", maybe we should do the same? (or even using latest snapshot as it probably includes more fixes since then) (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #2) > Fedora is using a snapshot from "checkout 20140419gita4fbc77", maybe we > should do the same? (or even using latest snapshot as it probably includes > more fixes since then) We have xf86-video-ati-7.5.0 in the tree. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati/tag/?id=xf86-video-ati-7.5.0 As you can see, this is tagged on 2014-10-02 (3 months ago). I don't use the onboard graphics now since I plugged in a better card. So I can't test the onboard for some time. Anyways, as I understand it right, glamor is now builtin in xorg-server . emerge -ptv glamor These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order: Calculating dependencies... done! [ebuild N ] x11-libs/glamor-0.6.0-r1 USE="xv -gles -static-libs" 419 KiB [blocks B ] x11-libs/glamor ("x11-libs/glamor" is blocking x11-base/xorg-server-1.16.2.901-r1) Total: 1 package (1 new), Size of downloads: 419 KiB Conflict: 1 block (1 unsatisfied) * Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be * installed at the same time on the same system. (x11-libs/glamor-0.6.0-r1:0/0::gentoo, ebuild scheduled for merge) pulled in by glamor Yes, I was referring to glamor. Well, then, could you test if the bug is still present in the new xorg-server? Thanks (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #5) > Yes, I was referring to glamor. Well, then, could you test if the bug is > still present in the new xorg-server? Thanks |
