According to `e-file`, both MATE 1.6 and MATE 1.8 install this: * app-text/atril Available Versions: 1.8.0 Homepage: http://mate-desktop.org Description: Atril document viewer for MATE Matched Files: /usr/bin/atril-previewer; * app-text/mate-document-viewer Available Versions: 1.6.2-r1 1.6.2 1.6.1-r1 1.6.1 Homepage: http://mate-desktop.org Description: Atril document viewer for MATE Matched Files: /usr/bin/atril-previewer; Doing a quick compile check with `emerge -1 app-text/atril`: ... >>> /usr/bin/atril-previewer ... Is there perhaps a reason that it doesn't install for you? Could I see build.log? Misunderstanding, I got the atril-preview command installed. What I meant is that it LOOKS like atril needs/should to inform gtk+ about the existence of atril-preview. That is how a read the gtk+ post install message anyway. What else could it mean? Depends; is there something that doesn't work, or does everything work fine? No, I have not notcied any malfunctions. I would not know what to look for exacly either. |
