rake-compiler-0.9.2 build log
Same failure with cucumber-1.3.15 (In reply to Tobias Klausmann from comment #0) > (::) failed steps (::) > > No such file or directory - gem unpack > pkg/my_project-0.1.0-universal-unknown.gem --target tmp (Errno::ENOENT) This is a system call to the "gem" command and I can reproduce the same error when I rename it and "gem" is not actually found. Is gem set up properly on this system? This would normally be set up by "select ruby". So I amde a fresh chroot from stage3-alpha-20140719.tar.bz2 and keyworded these through /etc/portage: =dev-ruby/ffi-1.9.3 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rr-1.1.2-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/nokogiri-1.6.0 ~alpha =dev-ruby/spork-0.9.2-r1 ~alpha =dev-util/cucumber-1.2.1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rspec-mocks-2.14.6-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/ruby-gettext-3.1.2 ~alpha =dev-ruby/childprocess-0.4.2 ~alpha =dev-ruby/locale-2.1.0-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rspec-expectations-2.14.5-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/gherkin-2.11.6 ~alpha =virtual/ruby-ffi-2 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rake-compiler-0.9.2-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/test-unit-rr-1.0.3-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rspec-2.14.1-r1 ~alpha =dev-util/aruba-0.5.4 ~alpha =dev-ruby/yard-0.8.7.4 ~alpha =dev-ruby/diff-lcs-1.2.5-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/text-1.3.0 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rspec-core-2.14.8-r1 ~alpha =dev-ruby/rake-compiler-0.9.2 ~alpha Installed them and then ran the rake-compiler test suite. No failure :-/ I have no idea what went wrong in the other chroot, but I'm gonna wipe it out. For completeness: (chroot) root@monolith ~ # eselect ruby list Available Ruby profiles: [1] ruby19 (with Rubygems) [2] ruby20 (with Rubygems) * (chroot) root@monolith ~ # eselect ruby show Current Ruby version: ruby20 Current Rubygems version: gem20 (chroot) root@monolith ~ # gem gem gem19 gem20 (chroot) root@monolith ~ # gem --version 2.0.14 |
