Microcode code has been updated for over the two months now (after 3 years or so it was updated before),  therefore it would quite nice to include it in portage.

Present version is 1.07 
Available in portage 1.06-r1

present microcode 16 March 2004
available in portage 01 May 2001

The ebuild for microcode_ctl-1.0.7 seems to use the microcode.dat file from the 
1.0.6 package. Why is this? It seems the only difference between the two 
packages is the microcode.dat file (at least that is what the urbanmyth.org 
site says), so there is no advantage in changing the package if we're going to 
keep the old microcode.

The microcode.dat file included in 1.0.7 does work fine on both my P3 and P4.
