I feel a bit uncomfortable about it, because it is multilib and we don't know the whole fallout yet.

There is one header that gets generated, namely SDL_config.h and we previously saw it break in libsdl-1.2 as well.

May be you can provide non multilib ebuild for 2.0.3 and rename multilib to -r1?
