Basically, there is only a change in the package description. amd64 and x86 Keywords have been set to "~...".
Bumped to v1.4.7. Ebuilds didn't change compared to v.1.4.6. This ebuild looks fine however can you direct the install of the doc to /image/usr/share/doc/${PF}/ ? For now I shall bump it as is since it is a valid state and leave it open. *gnome-commander-1.4.6 (01 Jun 2015) 01 Jun 2015; Ian Delaney <idella4@gentoo.org> +gnome-commander-1.4.6.ebuild, -gnome-commander-1.4.1.ebuild: bump; ebuild by maintainer from Bug #514472, rm old The 1.4.6 was committed before I found you declaration of the 1.4.7. This at least gives you the chance to divert the install of the doc to the alternate /image/usr/share/doc/${PF}/ As v1.4.7 is already released, I can not change the doc location to /image/usr/share/doc/${PF}/ anymore in this GCMD release. It will be possible only later on. But actually I have two questions: 1. Why should we move the docs to this new location? 2. I actually spend the last two days to find out how to change the location, but I didn't manage to do this. Line 416 in configure.ac of the GCMD sources seems to be ignored, and changing the path at line 7 of m4/gnome-doc-utils.m4 brings no change, too, as it is always overwritten after a run of autogen.sh... If a change of this path is really necessary I could be convinced, but anyway, I would need some help here. Maybe from the Gentoo Gnome team? Thanks! I had this confirmed by a recruiter. > 2. I actually spend the last two days to find out how to change the > location, but I didn't manage to do this. CC'ing pacjo he is in the gnome team and is very obliging. gtk-doc files are an exception to that rule, they are being properly installed already: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312363 +*gnome-commander-1.4.7 (06 Jun 2015) + + 06 Jun 2015; Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> +gnome-commander-1.4.7.ebuild: + Version bump (#514472 by Uwe Scholz), set GCONF_DEBUG=no, drop .la files and + static files, stop using G2CONF, scrollkeeper database must not be regenerated + at buildtime. + I think most of this stuff is explained at: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:GNOME/Gnome_Team_Ebuild_Policies Best regards and sorry for the delay Great, thank you, Pacho! |
