Description jospezial 2014-06-21 14:42:53 UTC
The Decimal separator ',' (comma) used for de_DE should be exchanged whit an space or deleted. Or the size-unit should be risen from kB to MB (or MiB).

These are the packages that would be merged, in reverse order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

...

[ebuild     U  ] games-fps/warsow-1.5.1 [1.5] USE="irc openal -debug -dedicated -server" 674,557 kB

...

Total: 17 packages (11 upgrades, 6 reinstalls), Size of downloads: 698,515 kB

...

>>> Running pre-merge checks for games-fps/warsow-1.5.1
 * Checking for at least 1 GiB disk space at "/var/tmp/portage/games-fps/warsow-1.5.1/temp" [ ok ]
 * Checking for at least 500 MiB disk space at "//usr" ...

The output is not localized, and so the comma used is for the thousands separator. Large downloads are still the exception rather than the rule, so changing the unit used does not make sense.

You could also use different brightness for number before and behind the separator.
I like it as dd_rescue shows it that way.

Apparently this is long since fixed.
