Upstream update rstudio often. Often it is easy to bump the ebuild, for this bump a patch requires tweaking. I was wondering if we could add the sci-mathematics herd to the metadata so anyone on the herd can bump it? I just wanted to note that I will bump rstudio soon if it is still at an old version. Last time I was involved with sci-* herd I got yelled at for importing overlay ebuilds to the tree (it wasn't copy paste, you know). If I see useful patches anywhere, I will certainly look at them. If bumping takes too long on my side, you have every right to step in anyway. It took me 2 hours of fixing and testing. So again: provide an actual patch if you want to help. This version has added a dependency for app-text/pandoc, which on my system pulls in ALL the haskell packages (I may be exaggerating, but it's over a hundred). Is there a way to disable this dependency, or is it now absolutely required by upstream? (In reply to N.
