gentoo-sources-3.12.21-r1 freezes when X11 starts, black screen, underline cursor in the top left corner, can only be pwoered off or sys-req'd off (latter with a approx. 70% chance of working).

Does not happen with linux-3.12.13-gentoo. Does not happen with <=x11-drivers/xf86-video-intel-2.99.909 or stable intel, either (but lower xf86-video-intel has other problems which render X11 unusuable).
