I believe this is due to building stable mplayer2 against unstable ffmpeg-2.2.2, is that your ffmpeg version? Created attachment 378032 [details]

Since you're on unstable ffmpeg, the logical workaround is to just allow unstable mplayer2 as well. In theory this stable mplayer2 should probably force <ffmpeg-2 but that's not so easy to accomplish with the ffmpeg virtual, I think.
