I know gentoo is a moving target, and I'm using the unstable moving target.. but it still bothers me that reminants of past programs are lying arround like ghosts on my machine.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

I suppose I could have done this somehow...

but i'm wondering how many other goodies that I will find on the machine

This is so minor, I'm closing it without a real fix... as it isn't that much of a problem...

Just remember to use the Gentoo tools for symlinking, rather than the ln -s in the ebuild itself...

It won't be caught by the ebuild script, and there will be many nasty little symlinks running about.
