found firefox occasionally freezed, and turn to blank screen, can't input anything. no matter I run it in safe-mode or not.

while freezed, cpu load average is still quite low:
top - 23:09:40 up  3:24,  6 users,  load average: 0.19, 0.28, 0.25

# ps ax |grep firefox
13478 pts/1    Sl+    1:24 firefox -safe-mode
14468 pts/3    S+     0:00 grep --colour=auto firefox

seems firefox in sleep mode.
and I can still kill the process

I've encountered this problem both on my laptop and desktop (same profile), while both using intel video driver

this is not duplicate of bug #511086

This could be caused by any number of packages from the overlays your using. I for one use xf86-video-intel and have not had a problem. You will have to track down which lib is causing your issues, can start with gdb on the process to get an ideal.

If you feel I have closed your bug and it is still a current issue, please reopen and update it completely. We will not work bugs that have no ebuild in tree any longer or can not be reproduced with a current system.
