I'm testing out mgorny's multilib work and today, after unamsking emul-linux-x86-gtklibs-20140508-r1 and friends I got the following error during the compilation phase of dev-libs/atk-2.10.0-r1:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.8.2/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: fatal error: /var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/atk-2.10.0-r1/work/atk-2.10.0-abi_x86_64:amd64/atk/tmp-introspecte3wLOn/.libs/Atk-1.0: open: No such file or directory

There is no tmp-introspecte3wL0n folder there. I tried everything I could think of: I disabled lto, I used ld.bfd instead of ld.gold, I disable parallel building, I disabled tests, but I always get this error.

This may be somehow related to bug #511090, though I wasn't able to reproduce it so I'm not really convinced. Could you wait a while, sync and then try again?
