Hey Jer, is there any reason not to aim for =dev-libs/libnl-3.2.24-r1 which adds multilib support? Thanks Jer! :) I think current stable NM 0.9.8.10-r1 (and its plugins) don't support such newer version of libnl :/ (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #3) > I think current stable NM 0.9.8.10-r1 (and its plugins) don't support such > newer version of libnl :/ That's why it isn't going stable yet. Apparently we have to wait until every last NM bug is squashed, including such bugs that have nothing to do with libnl. *** Bug 530276 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Arch teams, please test and mark stable: =dev-libs/libnl-3.2.25 Targeted stable KEYWORDS : alpha amd64 arm arm64 hppa ia64 ppc ppc64 sparc x86 Sorry, not looking very stable here. Trying to do an "emerge -NuD world" failed on libnl-3.2.25, with the error being: checking whether the C compiler works... no configure: error: in `/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/libnl-3.2.25/work/libnl-3.2.25-abi_x86_64.amd64': configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables GCC does in fact work, I can compile my own stuff with no problems, also, all of the other apps my "emerge -NuD world" just did. Should I post the config.log etc? Regards, Andrew (In reply to Bluey The Dog from comment #7) > configure: error: in > `/var/tmp/portage/dev-libs/libnl-3.2.25/work/libnl-3.2.25-abi_x86_64.amd64': > configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables File a new bug report. Stable for HPPA. arm stable amd64 stable Stable on alpha. ppc stable x86 done. Stable for PPC64. ia64 stable sparc stable This should block python-3.4 stab anymore as only arm64 is pending |
