/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.7.3/../../../../lib64/libvorbis.so: could not read symbols: Invalid operation

That's not the same version of mpd. mpd 0.17.6 is the current stable, and it does not build.

You can request a stabilization for a newer version by filing a new bug.
