See http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-940514.html It's that simple to roll your own bump :) (In reply to Leif Biberg Kristensen from comment #2) > See http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-940514.html > > It's that simple to roll your own bump :) Thanks for the link, but what's the point of using portage if everyone writes their own ebuilds anyways? :-) (In reply to Nikolay Edigaryev from comment #3) > Thanks for the link, but what's the point of using portage if everyone > writes their own ebuilds anyways? :-) In principle I agree with you, and I think that it's strange that a popular game like OpenTTD hasn't been bumped in Gentoo more than six weeks after a new major release. Probably none of the Gentoo devs are playing this game ;) To the devs: I generally appreciate your work; you have made my life with Gentoo easy for more than ten years. If you need a proxy maintainer for OpenTTD and think that I may be of any use, then I'm your man. 1.4.1 is out. Created attachment 378678 [details]

Ebuild for games-misc/opengfx-0.5.1
Comment on attachment 378682 [details] Ebuild for games-misc/opengfx-0.5.1 Sorry for the noise, this ebuild belongs to bug #508244. This openttd-1.4.1 ebuild works flawlessly for me. Please bump. I would even suggest to stabilize it quite soon. 1.4.2 is out. I just copied the ebuild and the cflags.patch from 1.4.1 in my own private overlay: cd /usr/local/portage/games-simulation/openttd/ cp -p openttd-1.4.1.ebuild openttd-1.4.2.ebuild cp -p files/openttd-1.4.1-cflags.patch files/openttd-1.4.2-cflags.patch ebuild --force openttd-1.4.2.ebuild manifest cd emerge -av openttd Bump for 1.4.2. http://www.openttd.org/ openttd-1.4.2 is in portage. Version 1.4.3 has been out since 2014-09-09: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=71310 I've tried to bump it in my own overlay as in Comment 11, but now the cflags.patch fails: balapapa ~ # cat /var/tmp/portage/games-simulation/openttd-1.4.3/temp/openttd-1.4.3-cflags.patch.out ***** openttd-1.4.3-cflags.patch ***** PWD: /var/tmp/portage/games-simulation/openttd-1.4.3/work/openttd-1.4.3 ====================================== PATCH COMMAND: patch -p0 -g0 -E --no-backup-if-mismatch < '/usr/local/portage/games-simulation/openttd/files/openttd-1.4.3-cflags.patch' ====================================== patching file config.lib Hunk #1 FAILED at 1450.
