Hello, Try rebuilding xf86-video-intel with USE="sna uxa". with USE="sna uxa" it's even worse. backtrace is the same but I got kind of lock. was unable to switch back to terminal, but magic sysrq keys still work. As ati-drivers-14.3_beta is not available in the tree anymore, does this problem still exist with recent versions of ati-drivers and x11-video-intel? with intel+sna I get "atiddxProbe: fail to probe intel VGA device". X doesn't work but no locks. I'll test intel+uxa again and let you know. kind of lock with intel+uxa. sysrq works, no changes on display. just black screen with freezed cursor. last lines in Xorg.0.log [ 63.552] (II) fglrx(0): Allocated new frame buffer 1920x1080 stride 7680, untiled [ 63.562] (II) UXA(0): Driver registered support for the following operations: [ 63.562] (II) solid [ 63.562] (II) copy [ 63.562] (II) composite (RENDER acceleration) [ 63.562] (II) put_image [ 63.562] (II) get_image [ 63.562] (II) fglrx(0): [DRI2] Setup complete [ 63.562] (II) fglrx(0): [DRI2] DRI driver: i965 [ 63.562] (II) fglrx(0): [DRI2] VDPAU driver: i965 [ 63.562] (==) fglrx(0): Backing store enabled [ 63.562] (==) fglrx(0): Silken mouse enabled [ 63.562] (II) fglrx(0): Initializing HW Cursor [ 63.562] (II) fglrx(0): RandR 1.2 enabled, ignore the following RandR disabled message.
