Description viktor 2004-05-11 13:21:18 UTC
When trying to emerge something with porthole, the following errors appear in the separate terminal window:

000001 *** emerge --nospinner app-admin/foremost ***
000002 Calculating dependencies ...done!
000003 >>> emerge (1 of 1) app-admin/foremost-0.69 to /
000004 [foremost-0.69] bash: line 1: rm: command not found
000005 [foremost-0.69] bash: line 1: rm: command not found
000006 >>> Downloading http://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/gentoo/distfiles/foremost-0.69.tar.gz
000007 [foremost-0.69] bash: line 1: efetch: command not found
[...Last two lines repeated with different URLs...]
000016 !!! Couldn't download foremost-0.69.tar.gz. Aborting.
000017 *** process terminated **

After this the porthole program segfaults (mostly).
Obviously there is `rm' and `efetch' on path (in /bin and in /usr/bin).
(For those who are interested, efetch is from deltup package, which unfortunately is on hold. Basicaly it will call wget most cases.)
