Hasn't built properly for a while (a few months at least).  Output of the failure is attached.

The distfile URL in the ebuild points to a file on maxmind's site that is not the expected size.  However, I can't reach the file in any way from their root site -- the only files actually accessible without knowing the "magic" URL are the ones on this page [1], which follow a different naming scheme.

This is would you should be getting according to the Manifest:

DIST GeoIP.dat.gz 383542 SHA256 ...

And this is what your build log shows:

So your portage tree is outdated. Run `emerge --sync'.
