Description Neil 2014-04-11 09:02:02 UTC
New version released, see announcement at https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-announce/2014/000572.html

I've bumped it locally by using the existing dev-lang/R-3.0.3.ebuild and copying it to /usr/portage/local/dev-lang/R/R-3.1.0.ebuild along with the 'files' directory and it has compiled with a few file collisions...

 * Messages for package dev-lang/R-3.1.0:

 * This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other
 * packages (see list below).
 *
 * Detected file collision(s):
 *
 * 	/usr/lib64/R/library/KernSmooth/po/fr/LC_MESSAGES/R-KernSmooth.mo
 * 	/usr/lib64/R/library/Matrix/po/fr/LC_MESSAGES/R-Matrix.mo
 * 	/usr/lib64/R/library/boot/bd.q
 * 	/usr/lib64/R/library/cluster/po/en@quot/LC_MESSAGES/cluster.mo
 * 	/usr/lib64/R/library/cluster/po/fr/LC_MESSAGES/R-cluster.mo
 *
 * Searching all installed packages for file collisions...
 *
 * Press Ctrl-C to Stop
 *
 * None of the installed packages claim the file(s).
 *
 * Package 'dev-lang/R-3.1.0' merged despite file collisions. If
 * necessary, refer to your elog messages for the whole content of the
 * above message.

...but these are files that come from packages that I've installed, and R-3.1.0 runs ok (so far).

Reproducible: Always
