hrm, there's an earlier message in the bootlog: loopback | * Bringing up network interface lo ... loopback |ip: either "to" is duplicate, or "scope" is garbage loopback | [ ok ] So that's quite silly :\ net.lo != loopback; net.lo is the netifrc provided init script for the loopback interface, and loopback is the openrc provided one. openrc provides loopback so that you can run openrc without netifrc and still have a loopback interface, which is kind of important. You want two separate bugs :). (Also netifrc has their own component under hosted projects on bugzilla, and their own bugzilla alias for assigning bugs to.) I spoke with Patrick on IRC, and he agreed that this is a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 487208 *** |
