Emerged pd-0.37.1 isnt linked to libasound and no alsa support is provided by the application. The pd configure script seems to be confused by the --enable-alsa switch, that is set by the ebuild. If the switch is not set, alsa is properly detected, as $alsa defaults to "yes" anyway.
