I wrote livecd. It can generate an iso from a stage1/2/3 tarball that is
bootable using isolinux to mount the cd as root. changes to files are kept in a
ramdisk.
Bootable CDs can be used for a comfortable installation or simply to run apps.

Installation menu supplied. Boots Linux in framebuffer mode so that links -g
will be able to browse documentation / internet with graphics without having to
run X.

Includes lilo boot animations for installed system.
