same problem with 0.4.3b? Janis? the issue still exists, when running kaffeine with gdb, the issue is here: kaffeine: Playing: /home/mjb/... kaffeine: xine event: channels changed <--for about 4 secs no response from gui --> kaffeine: xine event: playback finished what might be usefull aswell is that after I click stop all playback stops, no sound is heard and after playback is finished a short click is heard, maybe 100ms or so, guess it's whats still left in the arts buffer I suppose you're using arts. Does control-center/sound/sound-system [x] real time priority and/or a change in the buffer size help? did you ask in the mailing list or forums.g.o? Such problems mostly need a lot iof input and I can only guess here, too. I do use realtime right now, changing the sound buffer has no effect either, ahh, using alsa solves the problem, no more lag, though alsa only is hardly an option in day to day use... closing. Please send reports to bugs.kde.org if you're still having troubles. |
