(In reply to DrSlony from comment #0) > I have java-1.5-fixer on my system. When I run it, it says: > # java-1.5-fixer > * You need to emerge >=javatoolkit-0.1.6 > 0.1.6 isn't even in portage! It says >= which means the version should be equal or greater. 1- the minimum version should at least be one that's in portage, 2- it should not tell me to do that and then fail when I already have a compatible version installed. $ java-1.5-fixer * You aren't root, so we'll just show what packages we'd emerge * You need to emerge >=javatoolkit-0.1.6 # java-1.5-fixer ; echo $? * You need to emerge >=javatoolkit-0.1.6 1 That is something that likely needs to be removed, either java-1.5-fixer and/or the entire dev-java/java-config-wrapper package, as it very old and was used for legacy purposes. It really has little use these days and has been the case for many years. This was stuff for 1.4 -> 1.5. 1.5 went EOL in 08-09. java-config-wrapper has been last-rited. |
