Hi,

I have a little suggestion for an improvement in the new version:

In the source tarball there some examples so please copy them to /usr/share/doc/noteedit-2.5.3 and as well FAQ and FAQ.de

Would send an patch for it but don't know good the eclass stuff good enough, yet.

i'm a bit overworked at the moment, so if you could attatch the updated ebuild for the new version which copies the examples, that would be great =)

I had a little trouble getting this to compile earlier; has anyone successfully even compiled it?

I compiled it without problems. Will try to rewrite the Ebuild for the examples.

@Jon Hood: Maybe the dependencies have changed - did you check it?

sorry about that confusion earlier- it was related to another hardware issue on my side that is now resolved. New version is now in portage, thanks :).

With this patch the examples and some other doc files are moved to the doc
directory.

now in portage; please file new bugs for version bumps and updates, it's easier to keep track of ;)
