uam itself doesn't require pmount, it only installs extra wrappers for pmount. And it informs you that you may want to install pmount if you want to use them. * Note that uam doesn't provide any way to allow unprivileged user * to manually umount devices. The upstream suggested solution * is to use [sys-apps/pmount]. If you don't feel like installing * additional tools, remember to sync before removing your USB stick. |
