I have never heard of llvmpipe working on ARM. Cc'ing vapier -- 27 Feb 2013; Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> package.use.mask: Unmask USE=llvm for newer mesa. (In reply to Matt Turner from comment #1) > I have never heard of llvmpipe working on ARM. Just tested on armv7, builds without issues. Does it actually work? X.org seems to work without issues. mplayer and glxgears also work. But I guess we should fix this on armv5 (maybe v6 is also affected) anyway. what about to have it unmasked only for armv7? (In reply to Agostino Sarubbo from comment #5) > what about to have it unmasked only for armv7? If you mean to package.use.mask media-libs/mesa[llvm] and just unmask it on armv7, that would work for me - but please not package.mask it. @x11/vapier: Any objections to package.use.mask it on arm and unmask on armv7? mesa-10.0.4[llvm] built fine on my Raspberry Pi (armv6). (In reply to Markus Meier from comment #6) > @x11/vapier: Any objections to package.use.mask it on arm and unmask on > armv7? Seems fine to me. You should test newer versions of LLVM and Mesa as well. (In reply to Markus Meier from comment #6) restricting to armv7 is fine. it's the only platform that can really perform. Is there anything to be done here? |
