X.org seems to work without issues. mplayer and glxgears also work.

But I guess we should fix this on armv5 (maybe v6 is also affected) anyway.

If you mean to package.use.mask media-libs/mesa[llvm] and just unmask it on armv7, that would work for me - but please not package.mask it.

@x11/vapier: Any objections to package.use.mask it on arm and unmask on armv7?

mesa-10.0.4[llvm] built fine on my Raspberry Pi (armv6).

Seems fine to me.

You should test newer versions of LLVM and Mesa as well.

restricting to armv7 is fine.  it's the only platform that can really perform.
