I used videos from http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1425 Did you fixed it for LO 4.2.0.4 ? If you didn't it, I have to build your version for checkhing this issue. I have media-plugins/gst-plugins-libav-1.2.0 installed. I experienced this problem with LO 4.2.0.4 and now with 4.2.1.1. I have no idea how to fix it. I installed the media-libs/gst-plugins-bad-1.2.3 and media-libs/gst-plugins-good-1.2.3 packages, and now everything seem to work fine. I must also note that if I install only one of the mentioned packages, not every video file is played back -- some of them are played as normal, and some of them make the Impress crash just like I described earlier. So, obviously, both these package together with the 'media-plugins/gst-plugins-libav' are needed in order to play back all of the files correclty Not sure what to do here. If we add more plugins as dependencies, people will scream too... Please file a new bug if you still have this problem with current libreoffice. |
