Wind*ws XP can do it, why can't we? ;-)

To make a long story short: If you have a notebook, and move between differrently managed Networks you might want to be able to fall back to a "default" network configuration, so net-startup doesn't fail (and dependent init-scripts get started)

How can you say bug 48305 is a duplicate of this bug when 48305 was posted first and includes a solution based on the current net.eth0 script?  This bug is a duplicate of 48305.
