The configure script of sys-apps/pcsc-lite-1.8.11 misinterprets the option --disable-polkit and treats it the same as --enable-polkit. Therefore, it fails if policykit isn't available, even when USE flags say it should be disabled.

This seems to be a bug in upstream's autotools configuration, but it can also be circumvented at ebuild level by not passing an option at all when polkit support should be disabled, as it's disabled by default.
